The Cadillac CT5 has a sleek fastback silhouette and an appealing version of the brand's shield grille. The layout of the cabin is modern and functional. We give it a 7 here, with one point added for each of the interior and exterior.

2022 Cadillac CT5 Fuel

Despite its fastback appearance, the CT5 is a sedan rather than a hatchback. Many of the details, such as the character lines along the lower portion of the body, flared fenders, and short front and rear overhangs, work, but the window line resolves awkwardly at the rear. This does not detract from an overall athletic stance.

2022 Cadillac CT5 Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG

The 335-hp V-6 gets up to 19 mpg city and 27 mpg highway, while the 360-hp version gets up to 18 mpg city and 27 mpg highway. The rear-drive Sport model managed 31 mpg on our 75-mph highway fuel-economy test route, which is part of our extensive testing regimen.
