The Cadillac CT5 starts out reasonably frugal and quickly becomes thirsty. The base 2.0-liter turbo-4, which accounts for the vast majority of sales, is rated by the EPA at 23 mpg city, 33 highway, and 27 combined. On our scale, this earns the CT5 a 5 out of 5. All-wheel drive reduces fuel economy ratings to 22/30/25 mpg.

The 335-hp twin-turbo V-6 engine achieves 19/27/22 mpg with rear-wheel drive and 18/26/21 mpg with all-wheel drive.

CT5-V Blackwing models get 13/22/16 mpg with the automatic transmission and 13/21/15 mpg with the manual transmission.

All ratings are for engines that use premium fuel.

2022 Cadillac CT5 Infotainment and Connectivity

The CT5 comes standard with the most recent version of the CUE infotainment system, which is displayed on a 10.0-inch touchscreen in the centre of the dashboard. It's much more logically structured than the previous system, and some of the touch-sensitive controls have been replaced with physical ones.

The system can be controlled using a rotary wheel located behind the shifter or by interacting with the touchscreen itself. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard features. A head-up display, wireless device charging, and an eight-speaker Bose audio system are among the desirable available features.
