The Cadillac Escalade 2022 is available in five trim levels: Luxury (standard), Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum, and Sport Platinum. All models include a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive as standard.
The 2022 Cadillac Escalade is predicted to have a reliability rating of 78 out of 100. A J.D. Power predicted reliability score of 91-100 is considered the best, 81-90 is considered great, 70-80 is considered average, and 0-69 is considered fair and below average.
2022 Cadillac Escalade Infotainment and Connectivity
Cadillac has completely tricked out the Escalade in the electronics department, in addition to the extra luxury features in the cabin. The main attraction is the digital dashboard, which is made up of three curved OLED displays that layer on top of one another to create a cool 38-inch of combined digital real estate, some of which serves as the driver's gauge cluster and the rest of which displays the CUE infotainment system for the driver and passenger. The array of displays is reminiscent of the Mercedes-Benz GLS-massive class's monolithic infotainment setup, but the Escalade's stacked arrangement creates depth and appears less tacked-on than the Benz.
An augmented-reality navigation system and an available rear-seat entertainment package with two 12.6-inch displays with streaming capability are among the other technological features. A Wi-Fi hotspot and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration are also standard. Whatever Escalade model they choose, audiophiles will be in for a treat. Cadillac collaborated with Grammy-winning audio and acoustics company AKG to create the Escalade's standard and optional sound systems. The Luxury, Sport, and Premium Luxury trims come standard with a 19-speaker Studio Sound system, but Platinum models get the AKG Studio Reference system with a whopping 36 speakers.
