The Cadillac Escalade SUV, as the Cadillac brand's flagship—and thus the entirety of General Motors' portfolio—offers every high-tech item as well as the ultimate in luxury features. Fortunately, because of the Escalade's massive size, Cadillac was able to fit many of those features into it. The cabin is lined with fine leather, real wood, and gleaming metal trim. The dashboard is dominated by a massive, curved digital display that serves up both infotainment and driver-gauge displays in a novel way.
The Escalade's exterior is inspired by the stunning Escala concept car, which has been scaled up to size XXL and adapted to the boxy silhouette of the Escalade. Most Escalades come standard with a 6.2-liter V-8 engine, but Cadillac also offers a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-six as an option. The Escalade's ride and handling are luxury-car appropriate, regardless of engine—but don't expect the brand's sedans to be playful.
Cadillac Escalade Warranty and Maintenance Coverage
The 2022 Escalade comes standard with the same warranty package as the rest of the Cadillac lineup. Its powertrain warranty is longer than that of competitors such as the GLS-class and the BMW X7, but the BMW's complimentary scheduled maintenance plan is far superior to the Caddy's.
The limited warranty lasts four years or 50,000 miles.
The powertrain warranty is valid for 6 years or 70,000 miles.
The first visit includes complimentary maintenance.
