Cadillac offers the 2022 XT4 in three trim levels: Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. All three have a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Luxury trim comes standard with a slew of tech, convenience, and safety features, and it can be upgraded with a few more, making it an excellent choice for the majority of buyers.

Any trim can have a few packages added to it. The Cold Weather package costs $850 and includes heated front and rear seats as well as a heated steering wheel. The Driver Awareness package ($470) adds lane keep assist, lane departure warning, and automatic high-beam headlights to this vehicle. A 13-speaker Bose stereo costs around $875. All-wheel drive is $2,500 extra.

The Premium Luxury trim adds leather seats, a hands-free liftgate, front parking sensors, lane change alert, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross traffic alert for a suggested retail price of around $39,795. This trim also comes with more options than the base trim.

The $2,600 Comfort and Technology Preferred package adds ventilated and massaging front seats, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, an air purifier, adaptive headlights, and a head-up display. Some of these features are also available in the Comfort and Convenience ($950) and Technology ($1,650) packages.

A number of safety features are also available in the Premium Luxury. The $1,100 Driver Assist package includes adaptive cruise control and reverse automatic emergency braking. A rear camera mirror, rear pedestrian detection, a surround-view parking camera system, and park assist are all included in the Enhanced Visibility package. Otherwise, the options for the base trim remain.
