The Cadillac XT4 is available in three trim levels for 2022: Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. A turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a nine-speed automated transmission are standard on all three. The Luxury trim comes standard with a slew of tech, convenience, and safety features, and it can be upgraded with even more, making it an excellent choice for most buyers.

Cadillac XT4 Sport

Any trim can benefit from a few packages. Heated front and rear seats, as well as a heated steering wheel, are included with the $850 Cold Weather package. Lane keep assist, lane departure warning, and automatic high-beam headlights are included in the Driver Awareness package ($470). For just $875, you can get a 13-speaker Bose stereo. The cost of all-wheel drive is $2,500.

Cadillac XT4 Sport

The top-tier Sport trim begins at $39,995. Adaptive headlights, red brake callipers, a sport steering wheel, and black exterior styling elements are among the upgrades. The Premium Luxury packages and options are still available, though pricing may vary.

The Cadillac XT4 is a luxurious SUV that is well-made. It comes with a lot of amenities, a lot of passenger capacity, and a lot of cargo space behind the back seats. However, there are various factors that are preventing this vehicle from reaching its full potential. The acceleration is sluggish, and the overall performance is disappointing. This Cadillac also falls short of comparable luxury subcompact SUVs in terms of interior and ride quality.

The Cadillac XT4 isn't a horrible car, but it's more expensive than several competitors and offers less value. The Volvo XC40 boasts a more luxurious interior, faster acceleration, a more comfortable ride, and a lower starting price than the Cadillac. Consider the BMW X1 if you want something more exciting to drive than the XT4.
