If you want a three-row SUV from General Motors' prestige brand, the 2022 Cadillac XT6 is your only option unless you have Escalade money (and space). The XT6 shares many of its mechanical components and underpinnings with the GMC Acadia, but you wouldn't know it by looking at it. The Cadillac has a distinct exterior and interior design that appears upscale. It is available with either a turbocharged four-cylinder or a naturally aspirated V-6 engine, as well as front- or all-wheel drive.
Even though the Sport trim includes a torque-vectoring rear differential, it lacks the athleticism of key competitors such as the Audi Q7 and the BMW X5. The XT6, on the other hand, is better suited for stylish family transport, similar to the Acura MDX and the Lincoln Aviator.
2022 Cadillac XT6 Price
The Cadillac XT6 has a starting price of $48,595, making it one of the most affordable vehicles in the class. The most expensive XT6 Sport starts at $58,295. Most competitors' top trims are more expensive, but many of them offer performance-oriented models that are far sportier and more powerful than the XT6 Sport.
In our experience, the Sport's chassis upgrades don't provide a noticeable performance boost, so we'd stick with the midlevel Premium Luxury trim. We'd add the Comfort and Air Quality package (heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and an air ioniser) along with the second-row captain's chairs, in-dash navigation, and 14-speaker Bose premium stereo system to that.
