The 2022 Ford Bronco Sport is one of the best off-roaders in the compact SUV segment. It's also pleasurable to drive on the road, and it's loaded with user-friendly technology. Some competitors are more upscale and better suited for transporting people, but for the right buyer, this could be a very appealing small crossover.

2022 Ford Bronco Sport Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG

The three-cylinder Bronco Sport gets 25 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway. When you upgrade to the more powerful four-cylinder model, those figures drop to 21 mpg city and 26 mpg highway. We put one with the smaller engine through its paces on our 75-mph fuel-economy route as part of our extensive testing, and it returned an impressive 33 mpg highway.

The predicted reliability score for the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport is 82 out of 100. A J.D. Power predicted reliability score of 91-100 is considered the best, 81-90 is considered great, 70-80 is considered average, and 0-69 is considered fair and below average.

The 2022 Ford Bronco Sport has some minor feature changes between trims, but it's otherwise very similar to the 2021 debut model.
