The Cadillac Escalade is almost everything you want in a luxury large SUV: It's spacious, comfortable, and opulent. There aren't many flaws to speak of, and it compares favourably to the competition. The Escalade is one of the most well-rounded choices in the class, and it should be on anyone's short list if they're looking for one of these behemoths.

Cadillac Escalade Sport

The Cadillac Escalade 2022 is available in five trim levels: Luxury (standard), Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum, and Sport Platinum. All models include a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive as standard.

For no extra charge, you can replace the V8 with a 277-horsepower 3.0-liter turbodiesel six-cylinder in any model. Every model also comes with four-wheel drive and an extended-wheelbase ESV version, both of which cost an extra $3,000 on top of the base price.

Even the base model comes with a slew of infotainment and driver assistance features, so many buyers may be content with it. Consider the Premium Luxury trim if you want a little more comfort from your Escalade. It includes several seating upgrades as well as a slew of new active safety features.
