An automated charging port door and power-presentation doors anticipate your requirements. The senses are stimulated by choreographed lighting and advanced LED technology. LYRIQ's designers achieved sleek proportions with aggressive aerodynamic targets with range and efficiency in mind. This is a simple design with a magnetic pull.
Cadillac Lyriq Interior
Although the concept vehicle featured only four seats and a centre console that divided the two front and two rear seats, as well as a touchscreen for rear seat passengers, the production vehicle features a more traditional rear bench seat. Cadillac claims that using dedicated EV-architecture allows for a more open and airy cabin with plenty of space for passengers to get comfortable.
It is claimed that more advanced noise cancellation technology will reduce road noise inside the cabin. The interior appears to be roomy, but we'll reserve judgement until we get a chance to test drive a Lyriq.
The Lyriq, like the similarly sized Cadillac XT5 and XT6 SUVs, will have a powertrain warranty that exceeds that of other premium people haulers. Cadillac currently covers the first dealer maintenance visit, but competitors like the Jaguar I-Pace offer longer periods of free maintenance. We anticipate that the Lyriq's battery warranty will be the same as the Chevy Bolt's, which is 8 years or 100,000 miles.
