The Ford Explorer lineup now includes a new ST-Line trim, which combines the styling of the high-performance ST trim with a more efficient turbocharged four-cylinder powertrain. The ST-Line version has 20-inch wheels and black exterior accents and badging. The interior is also performance-oriented, with faux-suede upholstery with red stitching, a sport steering wheel, and door-jamb protector plates with the Ford ST-Line logo.
Speaking of The Ford Explorer ST, the Explorer's most sporty model is now available with rear-wheel drive. High-end King Ranch and Platinum models get 400 horsepower and can be equipped for free with either a second-row bench seat or a pair of captain's chairs. The Timberline model, which debuted last year, is now available with a second-row bench.
2022 Ford Explorer King Ranch
The King Ranch is available for purchase for $53,610. It combines the ST's engine and digital gauge cluster with the Limited's equipment while adding many of the ST's available packages, including Premium Technology. Del Rio leather seats are also available on the King Ranch.
